Dr. Georgelos is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1994, he graduated Cum Laude from Villanova University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He attended Temple University School of Medicine, graduating in 1998. Dr. Georgelos completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Maryland’s Hospital for Children in 2001. Upon his return to the Philadelphia area, Dr. Georgelos practiced General Pediatrics in Wilmington, DE and Lansdowne, PA before joining Advocare South Jersey Pediatrics in 2013. Dr. Georgelos and his wife, Elizabeth, currently reside in Mullica Hill. A devoted sports fan, he passionately follows all our area’s sports teams with particular fervor for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Villanova Wildcats men’s basketball team. He is also an avid supporter of London’s Arsenal Football Club. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame. In his free time, Dr. Georgelos enjoys traveling and the arts.
